The Mobile Banking app of the Cooperative Bank of Chania offers a comprehensive platform for customers to efficiently manage their financial activities. Users can quickly access account balances and transaction histories, manage banking products, and facilitate money transfers securely at any time within a user-friendly and secure interface.

Individuals, self-employed professionals, or sole proprietors can easily register for the eBanking service without visiting a branch. By simply downloading the Mobile Banking app and utilizing their banking card along with a mobile number, users can gain access to essential banking functionalities.

The app employs advanced security measures for transaction protection, including biometric logins via Touch ID or Face ID, a 4-digit PIN, and Strong Customer Identification (SCA) through one-time passwords (OTP) or push notifications for transaction approvals initiated through a web browser. Users have the ability to change their secret codes and deactivate their profiles or lock accounts swiftly to mitigate potential fraudulent activities. Additionally, registered devices and trusted browsers can be managed effectively within the app.

Users can monitor account balances and transaction histories for all accounts, cards, and loans at a glance. The app allows for easy downloading of transaction records in PDF format. Relevant notifications regarding all transactions and changes in account balances can be received by enabling push notifications. Bill payments, taxes, and credit card settlements for various banks are facilitated seamlessly. Users can also set up and manage standing orders efficiently.

The app features functionality for quick payments through electronic payment codes (RF CODE), with QR code or barcode scanning to auto-fill details. Smart categorization aids users in locating desired payments quickly.

Personal information updates can be made through integration with the eGov KYC service or by attaching necessary documents. Customers can manage their communication preferences regarding updates on new services and products from the Bank. Additionally, money transfers between accounts within the Cooperative Bank of Chania as well as to accounts at other banks in Greece and abroad are straightforward. Recurring transfer orders can be set up effortlessly.

The Mobile Banking app also facilitates the creation of time deposit accounts directly from the application. Users can issue or request important certificates efficiently and track application progress while downloading copies of issued certificates.

IRIS payments allow users to send and receive funds instantly using a mobile phone number for personal use or VAT number for business purposes. Notification preferences for specific products can be customized, ensuring customers receive timely updates tailored to their interests.

Users can search through their transaction history, download transaction details in PDF format, and designate frequently used payments as "favorites." Custom "friendly names" can be created for transactions to streamline future executions.

The app supports multi-user approval workflows for transactions requiring secondary authorization—a crucial feature for legal entities—and enables users to link accounts and cards from other banks when accessing eBanking via browser.

To enhance security, users can set personal transfer limits to minimize accidental fund transfers to third parties. The built-in "Spending Analysis" tool allows customers to analyze annual expenses by category and calculate deductible taxes easily. With "single sign-on" service activated at a bank branch, customers can seamlessly track and manage multiple accounts, both corporate and personal, using one password.
